A rare young dramatic soprano with an exceptional voice – powerful, focused, and already carrying a striking natural authority far beyond her years.
Born in Kyiv and raised in Vienna, Katerina represents a new generation of dramatic voices with immediate presence and unmistakable potential. Her sound already points clearly toward the great roles of her fach.
Early recognition has come quickly: finalist in both the Elina Garanca Zukunftsstimmen Competition and the Hans Staud Music Prize in Vienna, alongside working at the Bayreuth Festival in Wagner’s Tannhäuser.
Her stage experience already spans key dramatic moments, including Verdi’s Requiem in Graz, Gertrude in Hänsel und Gretel, Mary Magdalene in Markus Passion, and covering Flora Bervoix in La Traviata. Upcoming: Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro (2026).
